Paul Finebaum and Johnny Manziel appear to bury the hatchet on Twitter

On “Good Morning America” on Monday morning, former Texas A&M QB Johnny Manziel gave an enlightening interview on his battle with bipolar disorder.

Now sober, the former Heisman Trophy winner is trying to make a comeback, but hasn’t had much success so far.

On Monday evening, ESPN host Paul Finebaum, who has long been a critic of Manziel’s, tweeted that he thought Manziel’s interview did a lot of good for others struggling with bipolar disorder and other mental struggles:

Manziel saw the tweet from Finebaum and responded, acknowledging Finebaum’s message and expressing appreciation:

Manziel is currently trying to return to the football field, and whether it’s in the Canadian Football League or elsewhere, it’ll be nice to see him playing the game once again.
