The Tennessee Titans face the unenviable task of heading to Foxboro to take on the New England Patriots in the AFC Divisional Playoffs on Saturday night.
The Pats are the defending Super Bowl champs and are once again favored to be a tough out in the AFC playoffs.
However, after completing an impressive comeback against the Kansas City Chiefs last weekend, Tennessee RB Derrick Henry (a former Alabama star) told TitansOnline.com that he thinks the Titans have been disrespected a bit by those who think the Patriots will run away with a win:
“Nobody’s really giving us a chance,” he said. “It’s all about us just believing in each other and executing what’s called on all three phases of the ball. It’s just going out there and trusting and believing that we can win the game. It all starts right here on this practice field and then we’ll go out and play on Saturday.”
The Titans struggled to end the regular season and got off to a slow start against Kansas City last week.
Henry had a big second half, though, finishing the come-from-behind win with 156 rushing yards and a touchdown. He’ll need to have another big game on Saturday if the Titans are going to pull off the massive upset.
