Clemson‘s dominant defensive line looks to be just as scary in 2018 as head coach Dabo Swinney announced Saturday that Clelin Ferrell and Austin Bryant are remaining in school for their senior season.
The pair of defensive ends were a major factor in the team’s outstanding pass rush in 2017, with Ferrell leading the way with 8.5 sacks and Bryant right behind at 7.5. The duo also combined for 31.5 tackles for loss and 22 quarterback pressures.
Swinney didn’t mention if star defensive tackle Christian Wilkins was entering the 2018 NFL Draft or returning to school, but with Ferrell and Bryant back in the fold, expect another strong defense next season.
