Nine SEC teams — Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Missouri, Mississippi State, South Carolina and Texas A&M — have qualified for bowl games this year.
Bowl season doesn’t start until Dec. 16, but the SEC Network is already getting fans ready for the big postseason games.
From Kirby Smart trying to lead Georgia to a title in his second year at the helm of the program to the SEC’s impressive bowl record over Power 5 teams the past five years, these are the stats to know this postseason:

Alabama and Georgia could potentially meet up in the national title game, which would be quite impressive for the conference in the College Football Playoff era.
Both teams have tough tasks in the semifinals — against Clemson and Oklahoma — but despite what some around the country believe, it’ll take a lot to prove it has been a down year for the SEC.
