Tennessee and Florida have been locked in a defensive struggle Saturday afternoon.
The Volunteers and Gators managed just nine total points at halftime with the Gators holding a 6-3 advantage. Neither team managed to score in the third with Tennessee’s QB Quinten Dormady throwing a bad pick in the red zone.
Things did not improve for Tennessee to start the fourth quarter as Dormady through another costly pick. Unfortunately for the Vols, this interception came deep in Tennessee’s own territory. Florida’s C.J. Henderson returned the interception 16 yards for the first touchdown of the contest.
