Nebraska finds itself searching for answers after a 1-2 start to the 2017 campaign, and the team’s play is starting to frustrate some within the program.
Northern Illinois pulled off an upset at Nebraska on Saturday and Cornhuskers athletic director Shawn Eichorst was understandably upset afterwards.
The Huskies were powered by a pair of pick-6s that put Nebraska in an early hole. Cornhuskers quarterback Tanner Lee threw a total of three interceptions on the day, following up last week’s performance where he tossed four against Oregon.
Nebraska will hope to rebound next week when it hosts Rutgers.
