Former Ole Miss QB Bo Wallace arrested for DUI

Former Ole Miss quarterback Bo Wallace was arrested Saturday night and charged with DUI, according to Antonio Morales and Will Sammon of The Clarion-Ledger, citing West Point police department records.

Wallace, now the quarterbacks coach at East Mississippi Community College, was released early Sunday morning after posting bond. The Clay County Sheriff’s office won’t be providing any additional information until Monday.

According to EMCC head coach Buddy Stephens, Wallace had taken prescription medication earlier Saturday and fell asleep at the wheel following a youth camp, crashing his vehicle as a result.

Wallace had joined the staff of the college famously known for being featured on “Last Chance U” in January. Wallace suited up for the Lions in 2011 before transferring to the Rebels.

In three years at Ole Miss, Wallace threw for a total of 9,534 yards and 62 touchdowns from 2012-14.
