Florida receiver Antonio Callaway finds himself in the news for the wrong reasons as the rising junior has reportedly been cited for marijuana possession over the weekend. The incident reportedly took place late Saturday night.
One of the Gators most outstanding returning players, Callaway is expected to be one of the anchors of the 2017 Florida team. No doubt, Florida head coach Jim McElwain likely woke up Sunday morning to one of the dreaded offseason phone calls that no coach wants to receive after hearing this news.
Per a report by Matt Baker of The Tampa Bay Times, Callaway was not arrested but only cited for having just over 12 grams of marijuana, this according to Alachua County court records.
