NC State vs. Clemson: Live Score, Highlights for Wolfpack vs. Tigers

Clemson 24, NC State 17—Final, OT

The game was tied at 17 with two seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, and NC State had the ball at the 16-yard line with a chance to kick a game-winning field goal and register the biggest upset of the 2016 season.

But Kyle Bambard pushed the attempt wide left, and the No. 3 Tigers won 24-17 in overtime.

Deshaun Watson was outstanding for Clemson (7-0), completing 39 of his 52 passes for 378 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran for 35 yards and another score, leading the way for an offense that gained 495 total yards against a stout NC State defense.

The Wolfpack (4-2) did everything they could to pull the upset, but 13 penalties for 120 yards and three missed field goals by Bambard (one of which was blocked) were too much to overcome.
