Former LSU wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct in the first half of the Monday Night Football game this week when he took exception to a hit by Minnesota Vikings cornerback Xavier Rhodes as he was going out of bounds.
Beckham immediately popped up, bumped into Rhodes and then bumped into an official running in to break things up and help spot the ball.
Beckham later caught a ball along the sideline and tried to deliver a blow to Rhodes with his helmet and was flagged. The two players seemed to be talking to each other and getting after each other on almost every play in the first half. It was reminiscent of Beckham’s fighting with Josh Norman during a game last season.

Rhodes had reason to celebrate early in the third quarter when he picked off a badly thrown ball from Manning that was intended for Beckham.
Beckham threw a tantrum during a loss to Washington last week after quarterback Eli Manning threw an interception. It was the first time since last season’s feud that Beckham was on the field against Norman again and Norman had some success against him once again.
Beckham finished with just three catches for 23 yards on nine targets. The Vikings beat the Giants 24-10.
