Nick Saban’s domination on the recruiting trail continued Sunday as the nation’s fifth-ranked recruit in the class of 2017, Dylan Moses, committed to Alabama.
“After talking to my parents, I’ve decided to shut my recruiting down. … I’ve decided to commit to the University of Alabama,” Moses wrote on Twitter.
Moses took an official visit to the school this weekend, watching the Crimson Tide beat Kentucky on Saturday afternoon. He’s listed by ESPN as the No. 5 player in the entire country, and the second-best prospect in the state of Florida.
Moses has played multiple positions throughout his high school career but will likely suit up at outside linebacker for the Crimson Tide. The 6-foot-2, 235-pounder originally committed to LSU, but changed his mind in the summer of last year.
With his commitment, Alabama now has the nation’s No. 3, 5, and 9 recruits from the 2017 cycle.
