Alabama basketball scored its third recruit in the past two days when 3-star center Galin Smith (Clinton, Miss.) committed to the Crimson Tide on Friday.

Smith, ranked as the No. 2 player in the state of Mississippi and the No. 23 center in the country, joins 4-star power forward Alex Reese and 3-star shooting guard Herb Jones, who committed on Thursday and became the first two members of the Tide’s 2017 recruiting class.

The three recruits collectively give the Crimson Tide the 21st-ranked recruiting class in the country.

All rankings are from the 247Sports’ composite rankings unless otherwise noted.
