Former Florida RB Mike Gillislee’s team didn’t win Thursday night, but he made one of the plays of the night.

The Bills trailed the Jets 37-24 late in the fourth quarter Thursday when Tyrod Taylor hit Gillislee out of the backfield. A Jets defender tried to upend the tailback inside the 5-yard line, but he kept his balance on one hand and extended the ball of the goal line for the touchdown.

The Jets won the game, 37-31. The 18-yard touchdown catch was Gillislee’s only touch of the night. As the Florida Gators Twitter account noted, Gillislee is the first former Florida player to get into the end zone this season.
