One Big Ten assistant coach enjoyed seeing the SEC struggle.
Zach Smith, a wide receivers coach for Ohio State, let the world know about his pleasure following a bad start to Saturday for the SEC.
Check out his message below. Although he doesn’t mention the SEC by name, reading between the lines sends a clear message.

Clearly, Wisconsin’s victory over LSU was a fine feather in the Big Ten’s cap. Mississippi State’s loss to South Alabama was a brutal result. And going back to Thursday, Tennessee’s escape against Appalachian State left doubts.
Still, it wasn’t all bad for the SEC. Alabama routed USC, Georgia topped North Carolina and Auburn pushed Clemson.
Much remains to be learned this season, but the SEC gave skeptics a few reasons to grin Saturday.
