Tre Mason was placed on the NFL’s reserve/did not report list over the weekend, and the Los Angeles Rams haven’t heard from the former Auburn running back for seven months.

“Right now, we’re more concerned with Tre Mason’s well-being than we are his football career,” Rams coach Jeff Fisher said, according to Graziano and Caplan. “We’re going to continue to try to reach him to see where he’s at.”

It’s been a troubling few months for Mason, who was arrested in March on charges of reckless driving, marijuana possession and resisting arrestAccording to a report from TMZ, police have been called to Mason’s home five times in the last four months since the arrest, and Mason’s family is concerned for the running back’s mental health.

Mason was the 2013 SEC Offensive Player of the Year after rushing for 1,816 yards and 23 touchdowns for an Auburn in 2013. He has 972 yards on 254 carries through two NFL seasons with the Rams.
