Connor Shaw seems to be in good spirits.
After suffering a broken leg in the fourth quarter of the Chicago Bears preseason game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday, the former South Carolina quarterback sent out a tweet thanking his fans for their support.
Overwhelmed w/ support. I’m blessed to have so many praying for me. Power in prayer! I trust that I’ll recover fully & play again as a bear!

Shaw began this NFL preseason with the Cleveland Browns before being cut on June 30 and signing with the Bears on July 1.
He played with the Gamecocks from 2010-13 and had 6,074 passing yards, 1,683 rushing touchdowns and a combined 74 touchdowns.
