Ball State's football team used a game show to reveal walk-on received a scholarship

Scholarship reveals — in which walk-ons or other college football players learn in front of their teams that they’ve earned full rides, all while being filmed — are becoming more and more creative.

Months after Duke’s Danny Doyle answered a phone call from his parents informing him he got a scholarship, Ball State’s squad played a quirky game show called The Cardinal is Right. When fifth-year senior Kyle Seger was called up to play, the screen behind him revealed he’d received a scholarship.

Of course, he was mobbed.

You’ll also get to see his phone call with his parents revealing the news. It’s a great moment all around.
