Former Gators quarterback Will Grier had a tough breakup in his life when he decided to transfer from Florida and continue his football career at West Virginia.
But he appears to be enjoying a budding relationship in his personal life, as evidenced by an engagement photograph posted to Twitter by Jeanne O’Neil on Monday night.

O’Neil, who is pictured in her Twitter profile as a Tampa Bay Buccaneers cheerleader, lists herself as a former NFL cheerleader.
Grier, who was suspended midway through the 2015 season after a failed drug test for performance enhancing drugs, will continue to year-long suspension in 2016. He’ll miss the entire season due to NCAA transfer rules, but is expected to be eligible to play for the Mountaineers by the beginning of the 2017 season.
While Gators fans may hold ill-will towards Grier for the nature of his exit, he’ll always live in Florida football lore for the fourth-quarter comeback he helped engineer to beat Tennessee last season.
Grier threw for 1,204 yards and 10 touchdowns through six games in 2015, which was his redshirt freshman season in Gainesville.
Former Gators QB Treon Harris, who competed with Grier for the Florida starting job and ultimately assumed the role after Grier’s suspension, unveiled his decision to also leave the program on Monday after being asked to play wide receiver by Gators coach Jim McElwain.
Luke Del Rio is expected to be the starting quarterback for the Gators this fall.
