Can Ole Miss continue their success?

The three-year window with stars Robert Nkemdiche, Laquon Treadwell and Laremy Tunsil has come and gone for Ole Miss, which begs the question: Have they peaked? Is trouble ahead for the Rebels?

In 2013 Ole Miss brought in a top 5 recruiting class totaling nine 4 and 5 star players like Robert Nkemdiche and Laquon Treadwell. This was the starting point for the recent success Ole Miss hasn’t seen in nearly 40 years since Archie Manning played. These players helped the Rebels win 27 games in the last three years and back to back “New Years Six” bowl games. They also beat Alabama two years in a row which never happened before in the history of the rivalry. Head coach Hugh Freeze has brought an exciting brand of offensive football to Oxford and future recruits are buying in. They currently have the #2 recruiting class for 2016 (according to Rivals.com). The question is “can Ole Miss sustain and even build upon this success?” It’s a hard thing to do.
